  • Patent number: 9793629
Abstract: The retainability and electric connection reliability of a plate-shaped signal transmission medium can be increased by a simple configuration while the operability of an actuator is improved. Pre-pressing protruding portions which create a clicking sensation of a turning operation of the actuator are provided in part of a region in a longitudinal direction of the actuator so that the pressing force of the pre-pressing protruding portions with respect to the plate-shaped signal transmission medium is applied to the part in the longitudinal direction of the actuator, and the pressing force of the pre-pressing protruding portions with respect to the plate-shaped signal transmission medium is prevented from being largely increased even when the actuator is enlarged in the multipolar arrangement direction.

  • Patent number: 8641439
Abstract: A simple structure capable of preventing a cam part of an actuator from coming out of position when the actuator is in an open position. The cam part 12a of the actuator 12 for rotating contacts 13 mounted inside an insulating housing 11 is provided with an engaging surface 12a2 which is a flat surface that faces cam lock protrusions 13a2 of second contact beams 13a when the actuator 12 is in the open position. Upon an external force or the like acting on the cam part 12a to come out of cam rotation recesses 13b3 when the actuator 12 is in the open position, the engaging surface 12a2 of the cam part 12a abuts on and makes locking engagement with the cam lock protrusions 13a2, so that the actuator 12 is prevented from coming out of position.

  • Patent number: 7524204
Abstract: A coupling spring portion 15 connecting a movable beam 13 and a fixed beam 14 is formed in a shape of extending toward a connector rear end in a curved manner, so that, even if a joined portion of the coupling spring portion 15 is disposed at an approximately central portion of the fixed beam 14, an insertion space for a connection object is secured sufficiently. Simultaneously, a distance X from a swinging center W of the movable beam 13 to a front side contact point 13a of the movable beam 13 and a distance Y there from to an actuator operating point Q are set to be approximately equal to each other, so that a contact pressure of the movable beam 13 to the connection object is kept approximately constant by causing an operation amount of the actuator 16 to the movable beam 13 and a working amount of the movable beam 13 at the front side contact point 13a to approximately coincide with each other.
