Abstract: There is provided a method of manufacturing liquid jetting apparatus which includes a nozzle plate in which a nozzle configured to jet a liquid is formed, and a channel structure in which a liquid channel communicating with the nozzle is formed. The method of manufacturing liquid jetting apparatus includes, removing a part of a metal layer of a stacked body in which a resin layer and the metal layer are stacked without intervening an adhesive, to expose the resin layer partially, forming the nozzle in the resin layer such that, the nozzle opens in an area exposed through the metal layer, and joining the stacked body which is to be the nozzle plate in a case that the nozzle is formed, to the channel structure.

Abstract: A projecting portion is formed on a surface of a liquid droplet discharge side of a substrate in which a plurality of nozzle holes for discharging a liquid droplet will be processed. A liquid droplet formed of a polyimide resin is attached to the vicinity of a portion which will become an opening on the surface of the liquid droplet discharge side of the substrate. Then, the liquid droplet is hardened to form the projecting portion in the vicinity of the portion which will become the opening, and a liquid repellent film is formed on the surface of the liquid droplet discharge side. Thereafter, the nozzle holes are formed on the surface of the liquid droplet discharge side to make up a nozzle surface.
