Abstract: According to a method for providing a location-based service for finding a person using a smart device suggested in the present invention, the method can find a second user corresponding to matching information among other users at adjacent places in real time and can enable a first user to be connected with a person who he or she looks for by chance by enabling a service provision server to receive the location information from a first user terminal, to match the second user using the matching information received and registered from the first user terminal among other users located within the predetermined distance from the location of the first user, and to transmit the matched data to the first user terminal.
