    Abstract: A common power control channel transmission device for a base station in a CDMA communication system is provided having a selector for receiving power control commands to be transmitted to multiple subscribers and multiplexing the received power control commands; and a spreading modulator for spreading an output of the selector by multiplying the output of the selector by a spreading sequence. The common power control channel transmission device can be used to control power of a reverse link common channel. For the power control of the reverse link common channel, the base station receives a signal from a mobile station via the reverse link common channel, and transmits to the mobile station a power control command for controlling a transmission power of the reverse link common channel according to a measured strength of the received signal.

A lower film of the at least two-layered thin films of the upper electrode has a first Al thin film having a lower grain density and larger grain size than an upper of the at least two-layered thin films.     Abstract: A Hybrid Automatic Repeat reQuest (HARQ) control apparatus and method for detecting a message received over a packet data control channel in a mobile communication system are provided in which a base station transmits a packet data control message over at least one packet data control channel and transmits packet data to a mobile station over a packet data channel. A control channel decoder decodes a control message received over the packet data control channel. Based on the decoded control message, the HARQ controller determines at least one of whether to perform demodulation and decoding on a packet received over the packet data channel, whether to update a Walsh mask, and whether to perform state transition on the mobile station. The HARQ controller based on the determination performs at least one of the following functions: outputs demodulation and decoding parameters, updates a Walsh mask, and outputs a state transition value to an upper layer.

    Abstract: Nonvolatile memory cells having a split gate structure and methods of fabricating the same are provided. The nonvolatile memory cells include active regions defined at a predetermined region of a semiconductor substrate. A portion of each of the active regions is etched to form a cell trench region. Insulated floating gates are disposed on a pair of sidewalls parallel with the direction that crosses the active region. A source region is disposed at a bottom surface of the cell trench region. A gap region between the floating gates is filled with a common source line electrically connected to the source region. The common source line is extended along the direction that crosses the active regions. The active regions, which are adjacent to the floating gates, are covered with word lines parallel with the common source line. Drain regions are disposed in the active regions adjacent to the word lines. The drain regions are electrically connected to bit lines that cross over the word lines.

In the receiving device, a time compensation means has a time tracker for each of signals received on multi-carriers and generates a time delay compensation signal by combining time errors of the carriers received from the time trackers. A plurality of PN despreaders PN-despread the signals received on the multi-carriers by the first PN sequence. A frequency compensation means detects pilot signals corresponding to the PN-despread signals, generates frequency error signals for the carriers by the detected pilot signals, and compensates for frequency errors of the signals received on the multi-carriers. A phase compensation means compensates for phases for the carriers using the PN-despread signals and the pilot signals. A multiplexer multiplexes the phase-compensated signals.
