  • Patent number: 7113186
Abstract: A reference image is displayed by processing spatial distribution to image data recording. A screen for inputting a corresponding command is displayed when requested. A corresponding slab is a three-dimensional slab rendered according to an input of a slab control command on a displayed screen. The three-dimensional rendered slab is also displayed. When the slab control command is designated among the Sagittal image, the Coronal image, and the Axial image on the displayed screen, the image designated on the basis of the reference image is displayed. When the slab control command is designated as a request to Rotate on the displayed screen, it is checked whether a new rotation center is designated. When the new rotation center is designated, volume or interest (VOI) planes are rotated on the basis of the new rotation center and the image is generated and displayed.

  • Patent number: 7102634
Abstract: An apparatus and method for displaying a three-dimensional virtual endoscopic image are provided. In the method, information on a virtual endoscopic image is input in the form of volume data expressed as a function of three-dimensional position. A two-dimensional reference image, a three-dimensional reference image, and a virtual endoscopic image are detected from the volume data. The detected images are displayed on one screen. Virtual cameras are respectively displayed on areas, in which the two and three-dimensional reference images are respectively displayed. Here, a camera display sphere and a camera display circle are defined on the basis of a current position of each virtual camera. When information regarding to one image, among the two and three-dimensional reference images and the virtual endoscopic image on one screen, is changed by a user's operation, information regarding to the other images is changed based on the information changed by the user's operation.

  • Publication number: 20060104999
Abstract: The present invention relates to a paclitaxel composition and the preparation methods thereof to solubilize paclitaxel wherein said composition comprises 4˜90% by weight of at least one selected from the monoglycerides, 0.01˜90% by weight of at least one oil and 0.01˜20% by weight of paclitaxel. Also the present invention relates to a paclitaxel composition including emulsifiers and the preparation methods thereof to solubilize paclitaxel wherein said composition comprises 4˜90% by weight of at least one selected from the monoglycerides, 0.01˜90% by weight of at least one oil, 0.01˜90% by weight of at least one emulsifier and 0.01˜20% by weight of paclitaxel. The composition of the present invention is an effective paclitaxel delivery system since the composition solubilizes paclitaxel, does not form aggregates after being dispersed in water, adsorbs well on the intestinal wall, and therefore has high bioavailability.

  • Publication number: 20040241094
Abstract: Oily paclitaxel composition and formulation for chemoembolization and preparation method thereof solubilizing paclitaxel in an oily contrast medium. The composition of the present invention solubilizes paclitaxel and has an advantage of delivering anticancer drug to the target cells by chemoembolization since it is possible to visualize the blood vessel during the chemoembolization process. The present invention also relates to oily paclitaxel composition and formulation additionally comprising chemicals that prevent paclitaxel precipitation for prolonged preservation and the preparation method thereof. Since the composition of the present invention solubilize paclitaxel effectively and can be visualized during chemoembolization, it can be used for TACE to treat hepatoma and other solid tumors.

  • Publication number: 20040109032
Abstract: Disclosed are a three-dimensional slab rendering system and method and a computer readable recording medium for storing the method. It is possible to provide detailed information on a volume of interest (VOI) by setting the VOI of a three-dimensional humanbody from a reference image, extracting and visualizing a three-dimensional image of only the VOI, and processing the extracted image. A reference image is displayed by processing spatial distribution to image data recording to the manipulation of a user. A screen for inputting a corresponding command is displayed when it is requested to display an image for inputting a slab control command. A corresponding slab is three-dimensional slab rendered according to an input of a slab control command on a displayed screen. The three-dimensional slab rendered slab is displayed.

  • Publication number: 20040070584
Abstract: A three-dimensional multi-planar image reconstruction system and method, and a recording medium readable by a computer storing the same. A shape of a corresponding section is displayed as a user selects an image mode on a projected three-dimensional reference image. Then at least one sample point being the basis of generation of the corresponding multi-planar image is sampled from the shape of the section, upon the user selecting a region in any one form of a straight line, a curve, and a free-formed curve on the shape of the displayed section. At least one sample point is converted to three-dimensional coordinates and the vectors which is perpendicular to the projection plane is multiplied by the inverse matrix of the viewing matrix to generate a three-dimensional multi-planar image sampling direction vector. Finally, the values corresponding to the unit voxels are determined using the three-dimensional multi-planar image sampling direction vector to create and display the multi-planar image.
