  • Patent number: 10539525
Abstract: A method for operation of an electronic device and an electronic device are provided. The method includes determining if an object is detected at a first terminal and a second terminal among a plurality of terminals of an ear jack. If the object is detected, the impedance of the second terminal is calculated, and a type of the object is determined according to the calculated impedance.

  • Patent number: 9386530
Abstract: There is provided a method of reducing transmission power. The method may comprise: receiving a network signal, if a carrier aggregation (CA) is configured and if the configured CA corresponds to an intra-band contiguous CA; applying an additional maximum power reduction (A-MPR) for a transmission, based on the network signal. If a configuration of the CA corresponds to a CA_1C and if the aggregated transmission bandwidth is the summation of 75 RBs and 75 RBs, a value of the A-MPR is specified for L_CRB>10. The L_CRB is a length of a contiguous resource block allocation.

  • Patent number: 9036492
Abstract: A scheduling method and apparatus in a wireless communication system. The scheduling method for a node B in a wireless communication system supporting a plurality of carriers includes determining a delay weight for each of a plurality of user equipment (UEs) according to a preset weight application time point. The method also includes determining a scheduling metric value of each UE per carrier using the delay weight, and determining a priority of each UE per carrier using the scheduling metric value.
