Abstract: A display method of an electronic device is provided. The method includes arranging a plurality of icons corresponding to a plurality of applications installed on the electronic device in a closed loop and displaying the plurality of icons arranged in the closed loop. The method also includes receiving control information transmitted from an external control terminal, wherein the control information carries application information. Further, the method includes adjusting a position of a selected application icon in the closed loop based on the received control information, such that the selected application icon is at a position closest to a viewing side of the electronic device, wherein the selected application icon is the icon of the selected application corresponding to the application information carried in the control information. In addition, the method includes displaying the selected application icon at the position closest to the viewing side of the electronic device.
