  • Publication number: 20230291550
Abstract: A computing system can associate a customer device of a customer with a financial transaction record and the merchant, the financial transaction record indicative of a first purchase from the merchant by the customer, transmit a first query to the customer device prompting the customer to input information regarding an aspect of the first purchase, the first query including a description of a predetermined product parameter of the financial transaction record indicative of the first purchase from the merchant by the customer, authenticating, by the computing system, the first request by determining that the customer-input response to the first query corresponds to the established aspect of the first purchase in accordance with a predetermined accuracy threshold, and authorizing, by the computing system, connection of the customer device to the network provided by the merchant based at least in part on the first request being authenticated.

  • Patent number: 11580517
Abstract: A method is provided. The method includes receiving a request to conduct a transaction with a merchant, requesting approval of the request, receiving approval of the request, verifying the transaction, receiving a first data, receiving a second data, determining a first distance between the first computing device and the second computing device based on the first and second data, determining that the first distance between the first computing device and second computing device satisfies a first predetermined distance threshold, receiving a third data, the third computing device being associated with the second user, determining a second distance between the third computing device and the second computing device based on the third and second data, determining that the second distance between the third computing device and the second computing device satisfies a second predetermined distance threshold, and approving the transaction.

  • Patent number: 11281765
Abstract: A method of managing tokens is provided. The method includes receiving, by a token management system from a user device, a request from a user to register a token with the token management system. The token is associated with the user and is stored by an entity computing system associated with a first entity of a plurality of entities. Each of the plurality of entities is associated with an entity computing system that stores at least one token of a plurality of tokens that are each registered with the token management system and each associated with the user. The method further includes modifying, by the token management system, the token stored by the entity computing system associated with the first entity based on a token command from the user. The modification includes associating the token with a different entity of the plurality of entities relative to the first entity.

  • Patent number: 11270309
Abstract: Systems and methods for identifying a user to a merchant are described. A token service provider facilitates the identification of the user. Identifying the user at the merchant is accomplished by the user broadcasting a token associated with the user or by the merchant capturing a biometric of the user. The token or biometric is sent to the token service provider computing system. The token service provider computing system identifies the user based on the token or biometric. The token service provider computing system may send user information associated with the token and the user to the merchant computing system.

  • Patent number: 11233634
Abstract: A computing system includes a network interface, a customer database, and a processing circuit. The processing circuit receives information indicative of a first purchase by a customer, establish an aspect of the first purchase as a network authentication credential for the customer, receive a first request to connect to the network from a customer device associated with the customer after completion of the first purchase, transmit a first query to the customer device prompting the customer to input information regarding the aspect of the first purchase, receive a customer-input response to the first query, authenticate the first request by determining that the customer-input response to the first query corresponds to the established aspect of the first purchase, and authorize connection of the customer device to the network based at least in part on the first request being authenticated.

  • Patent number: 11017376
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes receiving a transaction initiation request from a first user via a first computing device. A first micro-location parameter relating to a micro-location of the first computing device is received. Approval of the transaction initiation request is requested from a second user via a second computing device. Approval of the transaction initiation request is received from the second user via the second computing device. A second micro-location parameter relating to a micro-location of the second computing device is received. The transaction is approved if the micro-locations of the first and second computing devices indicate that the first and second computing devices are at least a predetermined distance from each other.

  • Patent number: 10565364
Abstract: Token management systems and methods are described. The token management systems and methods are configured to receive a plurality of tokens from a plurality of entities associated with a user and to enable the user to manage the tokens in a secure, convenient, efficient, and time-saving manner. The token management system may be accessed with a user device. In some arrangements, the token management system is structured to receive a registration request from a user, request a plurality of tokens from different entities where the user has associated tokens, and to provide various token management functions to the user. The token management functions allow the user to change, reassociate, activate, and deactivate the tokens, as well as create new tokens.
