Patent number: 8634808Abstract: Collected information is analyzed by the mobile device to determine whether the device is displaced from the owner. The mobile device monitors and detects a reduction of ambient light to automatically enter into protection mode without manual activation. If an increase of ambient light and movement of the mobile device are both detected, then the device enters into authentication mode. Various techniques to verify the user's identity may be implemented in authentication mode. The user must correctly match an input key code, button combination, or an image recognition photograph against the stored information according to the method of verification chosen in each respective process. An alarm is activated if the device determines authentication is not received but may be disabled when the user's identity is verified after another authentication attempt.Type: GrantFiled: November 21, 2012Date of Patent: January 21, 2014Assignee: Trend Micro Inc.Inventors: Anthony Zhong, Jing Cao, Hunk Shi

Patent number: 7626697Abstract: The present invention provides a grating photometer comprising a light splitting box, a preamplifier box, a photodiode array and optical assembly. The light splitting box has a light splitting chamber. There are provided a first extinction hole and second extinction hole respectively on the side wall of the light splitting chamber and on the preamplifier box to correspond to zero order spectrum line. The first hole is a through hole and the second hole is a blind hole. The configuration of the first and second extinction holes direct the zero order spectrum to go into the second extinction hole, as a result, generates a rather small number of stray light in the light splitting chamber coming from the scattering of the zero order spectrum from the second extinction hole, thus suppresses effectively the stray light and improves the signal-to-noise ratio of the photometer.Type: GrantFiled: September 13, 2007Date of Patent: December 1, 2009Assignee: Shenzhen Mindray Bio-Medical Electronics Co., Ltd.Inventors: Jinhong Qiu, Chao Zeng, Jing Cao
