    Abstract: A system and method for facilitating authoring computer code to facilitate rendering a display of data via a user interface display screen. An example method includes accepting a signal from a user input device to specify an attribute in accordance with a definition of a class of attributes in a data model; providing the specification of the attribute to a software component characterizing a webpage, wherein the software component includes an indicator for dynamic rendering of at least a portion of data included in the data model and associated with the attribute; and storing the definition of the class of attributes and data associated with the attribute, for retrieval and rendering of the data on a target device. The example method may include providing a mechanism for modifying attributes of the data model and propagating data model changes to webpage computer code.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a method of increasing extracellular secretion of secretory proteins by co-expressing the secretory proteins with a mature cutinase. Cutinase can improve the permeability of E. coli cell membrane without destroying the membrane, and thus facilitate cross-membrane transfer of the secretory proteins co-expressed in E. coli. Increased extracellular secretion of target proteins can shorten cell culture time, reduce the formation of inclusion bodies and increase production of target proteins.

    Abstract: A method, system and device for providing secure access to multimedia content received by a networked digital storage device, such as a set-top box. A mobile device, such as a mobile telephone, obtains appropriate security binding information and application software when coupled to the networked digital storage device at its end user location. The mobile device uploads the security binding information to a randomly located temporary hosting device at its place-shifted location when coupled thereto and, through a logical binding with the temporary hosting device, enables a secure, remote session. The secure binding and transfer of appropriate keys allow the remote hosting device to securely access premium or protected digital material/services available at the networked digital storage device. After completion of the secure, remote access session, termination occurs and the security binding information and the computing activity residue can be removed from the mobile device and the temporary hosting device.

Recombinant plasmid Tfu_0883-hlyAs/pET20b(+) was constructed and transformed into E. coli BL21(DE3) to obtain recombinant E. coli strain Tfu_0883-hlyAs/pET20b(+)/E. coli BL21(DE3). Specific growth rate was maintained at a certain value using fed-batch fermentation mode. After fermenting 30-34 hours, the enzyme activity in the supernatant reached 700-750 U/mL. The present invention uses glycerol as the main raw material and employs semi-synthetic medium, has the advantages of good stability and ease of control, and is suitable for large-scale production.

Each feature index is then directly mapped to a delta quantization parameter (QP) using a linear fractional model that explicitly establishes a relation between the delta QP and a Human Visual System (HVS) insensitivity index, e.g., where the delta QP is set based on a comparison between a local strength of the HVS insensitivity index and an overall strength of a particular frame of the local video content. Accordingly, a QP of an adaptive quantization may be refined by adding to it each delta QP, such that adaptive quantization may be performed on the video unit based on the refined QP.
