    Abstract: Some embodiments disclosed herein are directed to connectors for thin-film functional separators in battery cells. In accordance with an exemplary embodiment, a thin-film functional separator for a battery cell is provided. The thin-film functional separator may be disposed within the battery cell, such as between a cathode and anode of the battery cell. The thin-film functional separator includes a porous composite membrane that includes a microporous substrate and a coating layer, and includes a lead extending from the porous composite membrane. The lead extending from the porous composite membrane is coupled to an external conductive tab using a mechanical connector that electrically couples the external conductive tab to the lead extending from the porous composite membrane.     Abstract: A defect rate reduction method for finished products is disclosed. First, size parameters of various types of trademarks, indentations, and printed patterns are entered into a database to generate basic images, a corresponding standard trademark image is collected in real time for each basic image, and edge finding parameter optimization is manually performed, to find edge finding parameters that can be used to accurately extract the trademark edge, the indentation edge, and printed pattern edge on the standard trademark image, to complete the database modeling; sampling detection is performed, edge information is extracted based on a database model, a corresponding distance is calculated based on each extracted edge data information, and the information is compared with internal control to determine surface parameter quality of the sample trademark respectively, it is determined whether production requirements are met based on a determination result, and the unqualified batch of trademarks is eliminated.

    Abstract: This disclosure generally describes a set of advanced video coding technologies, and is specifically related to cross-component sample offset (CCSO) filtering. For example, a CCSO filter having fractional CCSO filtering tap positions may be used to generate sample offsets from one color component of a reconstructed video. The sample offsets may then be applied to a second color component of the reconstructed video. The reconstructed samples of the first color component may first be interpolated by an interpolation filter in order to generate interpolated samples of the first color component at the fractional CCSO tap positions. The interpolated samples may be used as input to the CCSO filter for the generation of the sample offsets.
