Abstract: This application is directed to a braking mechanism that is used in a lifting column. The braking mechanism comprises a connecting component, a mounting seat, and a self-locking spring. The connecting component includes a first spline portion, a stepped portion, an intermediate connection portion, and a second spline portion, arranged sequentially along an axis. The second spline portion and the intermediate connection portion pass through the mounting seat. The stepped portion contacts an end face of the mounting seat. The self-locking spring is mounted on the intermediate connection portion. An end of the self-locking spring is fixed to the mounting seat.

Abstract: This application relates to wearable devices and sound pickup methods. An example method includes: displaying a first interface in response to a first operation, where the first interface is used to configure a sound pickup direction; and determining a target sound pickup direction in response to a second operation detected on the first interface. In some instances, the electronic device can provide a sound pickup direction configuration function by using the first interface, so that a user can select the target sound pickup direction based on an actual application situation, and the electronic device can directly pick up a sound signal based on the target sound pickup direction in a subsequent sound pickup process, or perform signal enhancement processing on a picked-up original sound signal based on the target sound pickup direction to obtain an enhanced sound signal in the target sound pickup direction in the original sound signal.

Abstract: An insoluble mammalian protein is extracted from transformed bacteria expressing the mammalian protein while avoiding irreversible insolubilization of bacterial host proteins by homogenizing the fermentation broth, centrifuging the homogenized broth and removing the supernatant liquid for the inclusion body containing pellet. In another embodiment, the pH of the homogenized broth is adjusted to 2.0 prior to centrifugation. The acidified broth is then centrifuged, and the pellet is resuspended in buffer, homogenized again, and the inclusion body is isolated by centrifugation.
