The table or chair leg protective sleeve sleeves a table or chair leg; the table or chair leg protective sleeve includes a protective sleeve body and a protective sleeve base; the protective sleeve body is embedded into the protective sleeve base; the protective sleeve base includes a nonwoven cloth pad and a hard component; a first groove is provided in the nonwoven cloth pad; and the hard component is embedded in the first groove. Since the hard component is arranged in the protective sleeve base, a hard structural member exists between the protective sleeve body and the protective sleeve base. When the chair leg is moved, the hard component at a middle layer is used as a support, so that the table or chair leg protective sleeve has a load-bearing capacity and does not deform as a whole.
