Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and a device for detecting web address hijacking. The method includes: obtaining a currently accessed web address and a target directed web address from a current web address access instruction; determining a secure directed web address from the currently accessed web address according to a history of web address access instructions; and determining whether the target directed web address is hijacked according to the secure directed web address.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method and a terminal device for selecting a character. The method includes: detecting a touch point of a user gesture acting on the touch screen, wherein the touch point falls into a touch point node; searching a plurality of nodes of the contents to find a nearest text node to the touch point, when the touch point node is not a text node; and selecting a nearest character to the touch point within the nearest text node. Therefore, by taking the nearest character to the touch point in the nearest text node as the character selected by the touch point, even if the touch point of a user gesture does not fall on a character, it is still possible to obtain the character selected by the user gesture, thereby repeated selecting operations may be avoided, so as to provide convenience for the user.

Abstract: A light app offline updating method and a device and a terminal device are provided. When a terminal device obtains from a server, in case of detecting start-up operation of the light app, an offline configuration item corresponding to the light app, it processes, according to the offline configuration item, offline data in an offline partition of the light app, thus reaching the object of controlling elimination of offline data of the light app by a cloud server and providing users with web browsing under weak network signal or even no network signal, thereby improving user experience.

The method includes: acquiring a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) address corresponding to a material resource of a webpage, wherein the material resource of the webpage includes at least one of a picture resource, an audio resource, a video resource and a literal resource; searching whether the URL address is stored in an address caching list, wherein the address caching list is used to store URL addresses having been matched by a predefined matching algorithm; and if the URL address is not stored in the address caching list, performing a matching operation on the URL address according to the predefined matching algorithm to determine whether the URL address is a URL address needing filtering.
