Abstract: The present disclosure provides a text message processing method, a text message processing system, a terminal device and a storage medium. The text message processing method includes: acquiring a text message by a telecommunication framework layer; determining, by the telecommunication framework layer, whether the text message is a private text message according to a preset rule; in response to that the text message is the private text message, sending the text message to a specified system application by the telecommunication framework layer; and storing, by the specified system application, the text message in a private text message database, which is accessible to the specified system application.
