  • Publication number: 20210146373
Abstract: A roller press capable of applying an electric field comprises a base, a frame (12), press rollers, an inter-roller distance adjustment device (11), a speed adjustment device (122), a voltage application device, a feed deflector (19), and a discharge device. A surface of the press roller is made of an electrically-conductive material, and an electric field is created when a voltage is applied to the press roller. In the roller press, an alternating or direct current electric field is applied between the press rollers to create an electrochemical action, such that particles or a solution in a system is induced to undergo a physical or chemical change, thereby enhancing interaction therebetween, and accordingly increasing grinding and dispersion efficiency of a solid-liquid dispersion system.

  • Publication number: 20210132170
Abstract: Exemplary quantitative susceptibility mapping methods, systems and computer-accessible medium can be provided to generate images of tissue magnetism property from complex magnetic resonance imaging data using the Bayesian inference approach, which minimizes a cost function consisting of a data fidelity term and two regularization terms. The data fidelity term is constructed directly from the complex magnetic resonance imaging data. The first prior is constructed from matching structures or information content in known morphology. The second prior is constructed from a region having an approximately homogenous and known susceptibility value and a characteristic feature on anatomic images. The quantitative susceptibility map can be determined by minimizing the cost function. Thus, according to the exemplary embodiment, system, method and computer-accessible medium can be provided for determining magnetic susceptibility information associated with at least one structure.

Abstract: A method for producing a multiple glazing unit with variable diffusion by liquid crystals can include applying a pre-seal on an internal face of a first substrate to form a strip delimiting a space. The method can further include depositing a liquid crystal composition containing liquid crystals in a polymer matrix on the delimited space. In some examples, the first substrate is assembled with a second substrate and calendared or pressed. Thereafter, the resulting assembly is irradiated and/or heated to simultaneously cross-link the pre-seal and polymerize the liquid crystal composition.
