    Abstract: A system and method for providing time domain allocations in a communication system. In an embodiment, an apparatus operable in a communication system and including processing circuitry is configured to receive an indication of a time domain allocation in downlink control information associated with a radio network temporary identifier (“RNTI”) identifying the apparatus, and employ the time domain allocation associated with the RNTI for transmissions associated with the apparatus. In another embodiment, an apparatus operable in a communication system and including processing circuitry is configured to associate a time domain allocation with a RNTI identifying a user equipment, and provide an indication of the time domain allocation in downlink control information to allow the user equipment to employ the time domain allocation associated with the RNTI for transmissions associated therewith.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for mapping Synchronization Signal Blocks (SSBs) to transmit beam directions taking into account remote interference. In this regard, embodiments of a method performed by a base station in a cellular communications network are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method performed by a base station in a cellular communications network comprises determining a beam direction to SSB index mapping, taking into consideration remote interference. The method further comprises using the beam direction to SSB index mapping. Because the SSBs have corresponding Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH) occasions, determining the beam direction to SSB index mapping taking into account remote interference improves PRACH preamble robustness.

The base station can send the UE an indication of an active bandwidth part (BWP) of a size NZBWP,1size frequency-domain resource blocks (RBs), and select frequency-domain RBs, within the active BWP, to be assigned for carrying the user data to the UE. The base station can encode an indication of the selected frequency-domain RB(s) represented by a starting virtual RB, RBstart, and a length of contiguously allocated RBs, LRBs, using a number of bits. The number is a plurality and related to a size NBWP,2size of another BWP than the active BWP. NBWP,2size is smaller than NBWP,1size. The starting virtual RB is encoded with a resolution of K RBs, with K determined based on a ratio of NBWP,1size and NBWP,2size. The base station can send the encoded indication to the UE via a downlink control channel.

    Abstract: A method for moving a set of positioning reference nodes (PRNs), the set of PRNs including a first PRN. The method includes, for the first PRN, determining a first set of candidate positions to which the first PRN can move. The method also includes, for each candidate position included in the first set of candidate positions, evaluating an objective function using the candidate position, the position of each other PRN included in the set of PRNs, and the position of a target UE to produce an error value indicating a positioning error of the target UE for the candidate position. The method also includes, based on the produced error values, selecting a candidate position from the set of candidate positions. The method further includes triggering the first PRN to move to selected candidate position.

If before the user data, all HARQ ACK/NACK data for the transmission is mapped to the earliest in time SC-FDMA symbol carrying user data in the transmission, and to pre-DFT symbols closest in time to the DMRS transmitted before the user data. If after the user data, all HARQ ACK/NACK data for the transmission is mapped to the last in time SC-FDMA symbol carrying user data in the transmission, and to pre-DFT symbols closest in time to the DMRS transmitted after the user data. SC-FDMA signals are formed from user data and control information for the transmission, based on the mapping.
