  • Publication number: 20240110997
Abstract: Disclosed are a device and method for detecting defects of a high-voltage cable cross-bonded grounding system. The method comprises: selecting a protective grounding box of a cross-bonded grounding system, respectively connecting a signal excitation coupler to A-phase, B-phase and C-phase coaxial cables of the protective grounding box, selecting a stable signal with a frequency different from a power frequency or a field interference frequency, and testing effective current values and phases responded by the A-phase, B-phase and C-phase coaxial cables when the stable signal with the frequency F1 is injected into the A-phase, B-phase and C-phase coaxial cables of the protective grounding box in a coupled manner; and obtaining resistances and inductances of branch circuits of the cable cross-bonded grounding system by calculation according to measurement data, and determining if the cable cross-bonded grounding system has a connection defect.

  • Publication number: 20230107702
Abstract: Described are methods and systems for estimating an optimal product pack size and on-shelf customer facing quantity of the products in view of shelf capacity limitations of the shelves at a given retail store/product distribution center, with the aim of maximizing the total net profit of the store/distribution center. The systems and methods obtain inventory-related, retail facility product storage capacity-related, and product storage/handling-related data from one or more databases and estimate the net profit of multiple variations of pack size and customer-facing quantity for each product. Then, these results are processed via various inventory optimization algorithms obtained from one or more databases to estimate the pack size and customer-facing quantity for each of the products to be stocked at the retail facility that would be estimated to result in maximum net profit for the retail facility within a given period of time.

  • Patent number: 11526824
Abstract: Systems and methods for determining whether a particular feature or change implemented in at least one test store causes a significant change as compared to one or more control stores are discussed. More particularly, techniques for using a time-series clustering algorithm to identify comparable sister stores to a store in which a feature change is being considered are described. Once the sister stores are identified a testing module can perform an A/B testing so as to validate whether a particular feature change being implemented in the test store causes a significant change as compared to the control stores.

  • Patent number: 11348047
Abstract: This disclosure describes a graphics processing unit programmed to generate a sample path for the demand of the one or more products at a store based at least in part on data associated with a historical distribution of the variability of the demand of the one or more products. The graphics processing unit may generate a thread corresponding to a plurality scenarios. The graphics processing unit may execute the thread in parallel to determine one or more parameters for each of the plurality of scenarios for the one or more products. The graphics processing unit may select the one or more parameters generated from the execution of one of the sample paths to minimize the cost. The graphics processing unit may adjust an inventory management system to set an inventory management setting based at least in part on the selection of the one or more parameters.

  • Publication number: 20200350064
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are configured to auto-populate pharmacy SIG codes based on pattern matching model in a pharmacy system. The prescriptions including one or more fields of prescription information in natural language are received in the system. The prescription information can be parsed according to rule-based pattern matching model. The parsed prescription information can be mapped to a token SIG using rule-based pattern matching model dictionaries. A prescription SIG code based on each of the token SIG can be generated. A confidence value of the prescription SIG code based on character coverage of the prescription can be calculated.

  • Patent number: 7721601
Abstract: A hydrogen storage tank for containing solid-state hydrogen storage media, and method for determining the hydrogen fill level in the tank. The tank has at least one compartment for storing the storage media, passages for transporting hydrogen gas to and from the compartment, and a heat distribution system for establishing a substantially uniform temperature in the storage media. A look-up table is generated for the tank that relates hydrogen pressure changes in the tank versus hydrogen fill levels in the tank as a function of temperature. The tank is filled to full capacity by adsorbing hydrogen on the storage media. Thereafter, hydrogen is released from the storage media for a time period during which there is a substantially constant demand on the tank, the change in pressure of the released hydrogen gas is measured, and the look-up table is applied to determine the hydrogen fill level in the tank.

  • Publication number: 20080149594
Abstract: An apparatus and process for producing a porous particulate media, such as nano-porous silicon (npSi). The apparatus has a rigid etching chamber configured to contain an etching reagent, an inlet for introducing the etching reagent into the etching chamber, and an outlet for outflow of the etching reagent from the etching chamber. One or more porous filter bags contain powders of a starting material for the porous particulate media, and are secured apart from each other within the etching chamber to enable contact between the etching reagent and the powders within the filter bags. Each filter bag is characterized by a pore size sufficiently small to confine the powders within the filter bag but sufficiently large to enable the etching reagent to flow through the filter bag. The etching reagent is flowed through the filter bags to etch the powders within each bag and produce the porous particulate media.

  • Patent number: 7366526
Abstract: This technique is applied in the circumstances where an intersystem page message, e.g. an IS-41 ISPAGE2 message, is received in a first border switching module. The intersystem page message may originate from a second border switching module. In this case, the network determines whether the second border switching module is manufactured by a different network provider than the first border switching module. If so, a routine to address inconsistencies in the location area parameter is implemented so that an efficient paging strategy can be invoked.

  • Publication number: 20070288304
Abstract: Methods and systems for determining the correlation between electronic informational campaigns, for example, two advertising campaigns, and then determining the particular campaign for a user, by a three phase process, based on the behavior of multiple users, are disclosed. In a first phase, probabilities of one campaign, with respect to another campaign, are calculated, and values of expected revenue for each campaign are determined from the probabilities. The campaigns with the greatest expected revenues are then analyzed, to determine the extent of their correlation, in the second phase. In the second phase, the correlation between two campaigns is determined, by determining a correlation value, indicative of the correlation between two campaigns. In a third phase, the correlation is factored by a user interest score, to determine a ranked order of campaigns for a particular user.
