The method includes: obtaining a first image to be adjusted; dividing the first image into a plurality of image portions; for a first image portion of the plurality of image portions, determining a brightness adjustment strategy based on brightness of the first image portion and performing brightness adjustment on the first image portion based on the brightness adjustment strategy, to obtain a second image portion; and obtaining a second image by replacing the first image portion with the second image portion in the first image.
