A gap in the radial direction is formed between a radially inside end of the opposed surface of the bearing housing that forms the diffuser flow passage and an outer peripheral edge of the compressor wheel. The seal plate has a larger diameter than that of the compressor wheel. A protrusion, which extends more to the compressor housing side than does a region opposed to a back surface of the compressor wheel, is provided in a region of the seal plate facing the gap.
