    Abstract: A cathode material for a sodium ion battery having a coating structure having chemical formula: Na1+aNixMnyFezAmBnO2, where ?0.35?a?0.20, 0.08<x?0.5, 0.05<y?0.48, 0.03<z<0.4, 0.03<m<0.24, 0.001<n<0.06, x+y+z+m+n=1. A preparation method of a cathode material for a sodium ion battery comprises the steps of: firstly, mixing a sodium source, a nickel source, a manganese source, an iron source and an A source uniformly, and then performing a first sintering, cooling and crushing to obtain a semi-finished product; then, after mixing the semi-finished product with a B source uniformly, performing a second sintering, cooling and crushing to obtain the cathode material for a sodium ion battery. The cathode material for a sodium ion battery according to the present disclosure is structurally stable, and a surface coating layer thereof inhibits side reactions with an electrolyte, so that the cycling performance is significantly improved.

The mono-crystalline cathode material for sodium-ion battery has a chemical composition formula of Na1+aNi1?x?y?zMnxFeyMzO2, wherein ?0.40?a?0.25, 0.08?x?0.5, 0.05?y?0.5, 0?z?0.26, the M is one or a combination of two or more selected from the group consisting of Ti, Zn, Co, Mn, Al, Zr, Y, Ca, Li, Rb, Cs, W, Ce, Mo, Ba, Mg, Ta, Nb, V, Sc, Sr, B, F, P or Cu elements. The mono-crystalline cathode material for sodium-ion battery has a specific chemical composition, a mono crystal morphology and good structural stability and integrity. Particle fragmentation can not be produced in the cyclic process, and meanwhile, the cyclic stability of the sodium-ion battery can be improved.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a cathode material for a sodium ion battery and a preparation method and application thereof. The general chemical formula of the cathode material is Na1+aMyZnxO2+c, where ?0.40?a?0.25, 0.1<x?0.22, 0.78<y?0.93, ?0.3<c<0.3. M is one or a combination of two or more selected from the group consisting of Mn, Fe, Ni, Co, Al, Zr, Y, Ca, Li, Rb, Cs, W, Ce, Mo, Ba, Ti, Mg, Ta, Nb, V, Sc, Sr, B and Cu. In the powder X-ray diffraction graph, there are at least five diffraction peaks exist when 2? is 30°-40°. A minor strong peak exist when 2? is around 16° and a major strong peak exists when 2? is around 41°. The sodium ion cathode material of the present invention has a low residual alkali content and avoids the occurrence of gelation phenomenon in the battery slurrying process. In addition, the capacity and rate of the sodium ion battery prepared therefrom are at a relatively high level.

    Abstract: An alumina/titanium silicon carbide composite material is prepared by making titanium aluminum carbide (Ti3AlC2) in uniform contact with silicon monoxide (SiO), and carrying out vacuum sintering. The composite material is obtained through mutual diffusion of aluminum and silicon and has high compactness and stable performance. In the composite material, the alumina is generated by means of a reaction between the titanium aluminum carbide and the silicon monoxide, and can be uniformly wrapped around surfaces of titanium silicon carbide crystals to form a relatively compact oxide film, such that substance exchange between a matrix and the outside is hindered, and overall antioxidation of the composite material is improved. Toughness of the composite material is enhanced by means of the titanium silicon carbide. The prepared composite material has relatively high purity, relatively low sintering temperature, and relatively high bending strength. The process is simple and convenient for industrial production.
