  • Patent number: 12638216
Abstract: A nanostructure is provided for converting solar energy into thermal energy. The nanostructure can include a metal layer and an anti-reflective layer on the metal layer. The anti-reflective layer is positioned such that sunlight passes through the anti-reflective layer and absorbed by the metal layer, thereby resulting in an equilibrium temperature for the dielectric and metal layer system above 400 Kelvin (K). The metal layer can have a thickness of at least 100 nanometers (nm) to prohibit light transmission through the layer and the anti-reflective layer can be composed of a dielectric material and can have a thickness between 20 nm and 200 nm.

  • Publication number: 20250012789
Abstract: Disclosed is a magnetic chemiluminescence immunoassay kit based on a bifunctional fusion protein for mycotoxins, and a use thereof. The kit includes streptavidin magnetic particles, a biotin-labeled mycotoxin antigen, a mycotoxin standard solution, a mycotoxin nanobody-alkaline phosohatas bifunctional fusion protein, a sample diluent, a washing solution and a substrate solution. The kit of the disclosure integrates chemiluminescence, magnetic particle separation and gene engineering technologies, thereby quickly, accurately and automatically testing the mycotoxins; and edible oil can be directly added for test without operations of extraction, centrifugation, etc., thereby reducing operation errors of testing personnel, reducing capability requirements on the testing personnel, significantly improving testing efficiency of large quantities of samples at a grassroots level, and providing a powerful means for mycotoxin testing and monitoring.

  • Patent number: 8653194
Abstract: Processes and compounds are described herein for single polymer composites based on a process for making the single polymer composites that includes the steps of heating a matrix material to create polymer melt, cooling the polymer melt to below its Tm to create an undercooled polymer melt, or quasi-melt, and combining the melt with an enhancing or reinforcing material to produce a single polymer composite. The process can produce materials that do not have any degradation of the polymer characteristic of the enhancing material due to melting of the polymer in the enhancing material.
