    Abstract: A computer-implemented method is presented for enabling instant and automatic photo sharing between computing devices. The method includes allowing a first user to operate a first computing device to create a plurality of images, the plurality of images including physical characteristics of a second user, transmitting a broadcast message to a plurality of second computing devices, determining whether a match occurs between the first computing device and one or more of the plurality of second computing devices, and establishing a local area network between the first computing device and matched second computing devices. The method further includes automatically and instantly transmitting the plurality of images to the matched second computing devices by priority and sequence determinations, and, upon completion of the transmittal of the plurality of images to the matched second computing devices, terminating the local area network.

    Abstract: A desulfurization apparatus according to the present invention includes: a first desulfurizer filled with a first desulfurization agent that removes a first sulfur compound from a hydrocarbon fuel; and a second desulfurizer filled with a second desulfurization agent that removes a second sulfur compound from the hydrocarbon fuel, the second desulfurizer being provided downstream of the first desulfurizer in a flow direction of the hydrocarbon fuel. The second desulfurization agent is constituted by a porous coordination polymer having a polymeric structure that is a combination of copper ions and organic ligands. A sulfur compound adsorption ability of the second desulfurization agent to adsorb the second sulfur compound is different from a sulfur compound adsorption ability of the first desulfurization agent to adsorb the first sulfur compound. A temperature of the second desulfurization agent is kept to 100° C. or lower.

The methods include combining a cobalt salt, a capping agent, and a reducing agent, under Co NP synthesis conditions including a temperature selected to produce cobalt nanoparticles of a pre-selected diameter, where the temperature and pre-selected diameter are inversely related. In certain aspects, the methods further include producing hollow gold nano spheres (HGNs) using the cobalt nanoparticles as scaffolds. Kits that find use in practicing the methods of the present disclosure are also provided.

This post-deployment validation helps identify low-performing models that are already deployed, so that relevant parties can quickly take action to improve either the machine learning model or the input data.

    Abstract: A multi-tenant storage system can store clear text data and associated clear text checksum received from a storage tenant using their associated cryptographic key (“cryptokey”). When the clear text data is compressible, cryptographic data (“cryptodata”) is generated from a concatenation of the clear text checksum and compressed clear text data using the cryptokey. A cryptographic checksum (“cryptochecksum”) is generated from the cryptodata. When the clear text data is uncompressible, cryptographic data (“cryptodata”) is generated by encrypting the clear text data using the cryptokey with an extra verification step to make sure the clear text checksum can be rebuilt during the read request. A cryptographic checksum (“cryptochecksum”) is generated from the cryptodata. The cryptodata and associated cryptochecksum are stored in the multi-tenant storage system, so that repairs to damaged cryptodata can be made using the associated cryptochecksum.
