    Abstract: A double-ring shaped strong magnet array nonlinear dynamic vibration absorber for vibration mitigation of suspender cables and design method thereof, which belongs to the field of structural vibration control. The installation positions and number are designed according to the demand of vibration mitigation, and usually one is installed at the midpoint of the suspender cable. The vibration absorber consists of the inner and outer magnet ring arrays, the additional weights, the universal wheels and a base. It feeds back the control force in the opposite direction of the motion of the suspender cable during the movement, so that the vibration energy of the suspender cable is transferred to the vibration absorber and thus less is returned to the suspender cable, and the energy dissipated through the friction between the universal wheels and the base, adding air dampers and other measures, etc.

    Abstract: The invention discloses a calculation method of ultimate moment resistance and moment-rotation relation for steel beam to concrete-filled steel tube column connections with bidirectional bolts, wherein the calculation method as follows: calculate ultimate moment resistance values of the connection for different failure modes, i.e. yielding of the endplate or T-stub in bending, failure of bolts in tension, failure of column in transverse compression, failure of panel zone in shear, and yielding of the steel beam in bending; the smallest one in the five ultimate moment resistance values is taken as the ultimate moment resistance of the connection; obtain the initial rotational stiffness of the connection by the test, simulation or theoretical calculation; then, the moment-rotation curve of the connection is obtained by substituting the initial rotational stiffness and the ultimate moment resistance into the proposed exponential model for the moment-rotation relation.

    Abstract: A new design and rapid construction method for flush assembly of prefabricated steel beams and floor slabs is disclosed. The upper flange of prefabricated steel beams is “” shaped, which consists of horizontal flange, vertical flange and top flange. Both beam stiffeners and studs are set on the horizontal flange, in which the former can strengthen the bearing capacity of the beam and avoid its local deformation, and the latter can fix the floor slab; prefabricated studs and precast concrete inside the vertical flange in the factory are used to constrain the deformation of upper flange. There is no limitation with respect to the form of floor slab, which is connected with the prefabricated steel beam by hitching the prefabricated rebar ring of the floor slab to the welded studs of the upper flange of the prefabricated steel beam.

    Abstract: A very large floating structure based on modular units and a combined mooring system. The system includes a central large platform module, small outer platform modules, tension-legs, mooring lines, oscillating float-type wave energy converters and module connectors. The oscillating float-type wave energy converters can convert the swinging motion of the floaters into the horizontal motion of the piston rods through the gear wheel-rack transmission. Module connectors between modules are divided into two kinds of modes. One can utilize both relative torsional motion and horizontal motion between the central large platform module and the adjacent small platform modules, while the other simultaneously generates power and reduces the relative motions between the adjacent platform modules. The wave energy converters on the outer modules of the very large floating structure can generate power by absorbing the incident wave energy.
