    Abstract: A flying disc can be thrown back and forth between players as a flying body, which can be flown a certain flying distance even by an unskilled person, and which slowly descends after speed of horizontal movement reduces so that it can be caught easily by the other person. The flying disc includes a disc main body having an upper wall portion having an opening at a middle thereof and a curved face or an inclined face formed downwardly at an outer periphery of the upper wall portion; a propeller and a driving device for rotating the propeller which are disposed at a central portion of the opening; and a wing-shaped member mounted at an angle different from the propeller so as to receive a descending air current generated by rotation of the propeller and apply a rotative force to the disc main body.

    Abstract: The present invention provides an electric yo-yo toy which is easily handled even by a young child and a beginner by allocating electric parts and gear mechanism to both of rotors in a balanced manner so that weights of both of the rotors are almost the same. An electric yo-yo toy has a pair of rotors, a main shaft provided between the centers of the pair of rotors, and a rotary shaft rotatably provided for the main shaft and around which a string member is wound. The rotor is provided with a drive motor, a gear mechanism for transmitting rotation of the drive motor to the rotary shaft, and a detecting device for detecting rotation of the rotor. The other rotor is provided with power supplies. The main shaft is provided with a conducting unit for electrically connecting the drive motor and the detecting device of the rotor and the power supplies of the other rotor.

A user-holdable member is detachably disposed at the device body and includes a second detecting unit for sensing that the user is holding the user-holdable member in association with the toy; and a control unit that actuates the actuation mechanism on the basis of the detection results of the first detecting unit and the second detecting unit.

    Abstract: A yo-yo includes a toy body formed by a pair of housings connected by a rotatable connecting shaft. The toy body includes a detecting unit that automatically detects the rotation of the toy body and a motor that rotates the connecting shaft on the basis of the detection result of the detecting unit. The detecting unit detects the direction of rotation of the toy body and actuates the motor to rotatingly drive the connecting shaft in the same direction as the direction of rotation of the toy body.

    Abstract: A toy robot capable of simulating walking motion with robotic legs and/or feet that rise and fall with respect to the ground. Some preferred embodiments of the toy robot are capable of changing directions effectively by using independent motors in each of two robotic feet. In another aspect of the present invention, a toy robot can include several different interchangeable arm mechanisms capable of complex motions and/or functions. The toy robot is preferably controlled by a remote control unit capable of communicating with the toy robot in order to control the walking motion of the toy robot and the motions and functions of the arm mechanisms.
