  • Patent number: 7570970
Abstract: A mobile station device for selecting a TPC command to improve the transmission quality of a packet in an upstream circuit more reliably, so that it reduces the re-transmission in the upstream circuit to improve a sector throughput. In this mobile station device, a demodulate unit (210) outputs a received signal of each base station device to an error correction decode unit (220) and a TPC command select unit (240). The error correction decode unit (220) outputs an ACK/NACK of each base station device to a data re-transmission control unit (230) and the TPC command select unit (240). The TPC command select unit (240) selects the TPC command of the highest priority on the basis of the information of the ACK/NACK. A transmission power control unit (280) determines the transmission power according to the contents of the TPC command of the highest priority.

  • Publication number: 20090147869
Abstract: A communication terminal apparatus that can eliminate the waste of reception quality report, suppress the interference of an upstream network, perform an optimum assignment using a scheduling, prevent the loss of resources, and ensure the fairness of transmission assignment using the scheduling. In this apparatus, a reception quality determining part (110) uses a pilot signal, which is included in a received signal, to determine the reception quality for each of subcarrier blocks. A CQI generating part (111) generates CQIs each of which is the information indicative of a result of the determination by the reception quality determining part (110). A sorting part (112) sorts the CQIs in descending or ascending order of the reception quality.

  • Publication number: 20080188264
Abstract: A base station apparatus wherein the increase of amount of control signals to be used for upstream line data transmission can be minimized to reserve the amount of possible transmission of data signals in addition to the control signals. In the apparatus, an ACK signal grouping part (108) uses a bit operation to add all of UE_ID information received from an ACK/NACK signal determining part (107) during a predetermined interval, thereby producing a unified signal. Also, a NACK signal grouping part (112) uses a bit operation to add all of UE_ID information received from the ACK/NACK signal determining part (107) during a predetermined interval, thereby producing a unified signal. An ACK signal addition part (110) and a NACK signal addition part (114) each produce a signal in which ACK information is added to the signal produced by the ACK signal grouping part (108) and produce a signal in which NACK information is added to the signal produced by the NACK signal grouping part (112).

  • Publication number: 20080057963
Abstract: A mobile station apparatus selects an appropriate one of transmission rate instruction commands received from base station apparatuses to reduce the interference of the whole system and improve the sector throughput. In this mobile station apparatus (200), a demodulating section (210) outputs a received signal of each base station apparatus to an error correction decoding section (220), which then outputs the ACK/NACK and instruction command of each base station apparatus to a transmission rate control section (240), which then selects, based on the ACK/NACK information, from among the instruction commands received from the base station apparatuses, the instruction command that should be employed on a priority basis during an actual transmission rate control and that is received from a base station apparatus having a highest priority.

  • Publication number: 20070298825
Abstract: There are provided a base station device, a mobile station device, and a transmission rate control method capable of appropriately controlling the transmission rate. In the base station device (100), an upstream scheduling unit (150) calculates a desired transmission power reduction ratio of a mobile station device whose transmission power is to be reduced among the mobile stations devices in which upstream packet communication is in progress and which is in the soft handover state, and transmits the desired transmission power reduction ratio. Thus, the mobile station device (300) which receives the desired transmission power reduction ratio can get a direct index concerning the transmission power reduction and it can select an appropriate transmission power and an appropriate transmission rate for it.

  • Publication number: 20070263585
Abstract: A mobile device, a base station device, and a transmission rate control method for preventing the reception power at all the base station devices of an active set from exceeding an RoT threshold and preventing an excessive load. A transmission rate command acquiring section (304) of the mobile station device (300) acquires transmission rate commands transmitted from the base station devices (100a to 100c) from a received signal. A transmission rate determining section (305) determines the transmission rate of the uplink channel according to the transmission rate command. A DOWN monitoring section (306) monitors the transmission rate command from the base station devices (100b, 100c) of a non-primary cell and monitors the amount of “DOWN”. The DOWN monitoring section (306) judges that the load is heavy in a base station device where the amount of “DOWN” is large.

  • Publication number: 20060291579
Abstract: A transmission apparatus capable of preventing both degrading of the error rate characteristic and deterioration of throughput caused by repeated retransmissions. In the apparatus, arrangement determination section 103 determines in an initial transmission to perform general constellation mapping, and determines in a retransmission to vary a constellation mapping position or vary a bit arrangement of each symbol according to the number of retransmissions. Data interchanging section 105 interchanges transmission data for each bit on a symbol basis to be in a bit arrangement determined by arrangement determining section 103. Mapper section 106 configures (maps) the transmission data input from data interchanging section 105 in each symbol to be mapped in the constellation mapping position determined in arrangement determining section 103.

  • Publication number: 20040252663
Abstract: A base station includes a transmit diversity unit. The transmit diversity unit is provided with two transmission units for respective systems. Each of the transmission units produces transmission codes by coding transmission data. Each of the transmission units produces two CDMA signals by subjecting first transmission codes to spreading and 16QAM and transmits the two CDMA signals. Each of the transmission units produces two CDMA signals by subjecting second transmission codes to spreading and 16QAM and transmits the two CDMA signals. With this, time-difference diversity is implemented. Each of the transmission units codes the transmission data such that constellation points of a combined signal derived from the two CDMA signals are substantially evenly distributed. Accordingly, it is ensured that noise margin is large so that a bit error rate is improved.

  • Publication number: 20020196812
Abstract: In a transmitter constituting a communication system, a buffer/transmission data disassembly unit disassembles a transmission packet into a plurality of blocks, an error detection coding unit attaches an error detection code to each of the blocks, and a transmitting unit transmits the blocks having the error detection code attached and retransmits a designated block designated by retransmission information from a receiver. In a receiver, a receiving unit receives blocks from the transmitter, an error detection unit detects an error in the received block, an ARQ control information generating unit generates information relating to retransmission of the received block, and a buffer/received data assembly unit recovers a data packet by combining a plurality of blocks. Improvement in transmission efficiency is attained.
