    Abstract: An apparatus provides information on a distance to empty (DTE) of a vehicle and an information providing method is performed thereby. The apparatus includes a display device configured to display DTE information of a vehicle and a controller configured to control operation of the display device. The controller determines low fuel efficiency-related information and high fuel efficiency-related information based on a current vehicle driving condition. The controller determines a low DTE value and a high DTE value based on the low fuel efficiency-related information, the high fuel efficiency-related information, and a current available battery energy. The controller also determines a current DTE value indicating a real-time DTE and controls operation of the display device to display the low DTE value, the high DTE value, and the current DTE value.

    Abstract: An intra prediction method according to the present invention comprises the following steps: performing a directional prediction using at least one of a neighboring pixel of a current block and a left upper corner pixel positioned at a left upper corner of the current block so as to obtain a first prediction value for the current block; obtaining a second prediction value for the current block using the reference sample positioned in the current block; and weighted summing the first prediction value and the second prediction value using a weighting matrix so as to obtain a final prediction value for the current block. According to the present invention, image encoding/decoding efficiency may be improved.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to SOFC with a multilayer structure comprising a porous ceramic cathode, optionally a cathodic triple phase boundary layer, a bilayer electrolyte comprising a cerium oxide comprising layer and a bismuth oxide comprising layer, an anion functional layer, and a porous ceramic anode with electrical interconnects, wherein the SOFC displays a very high power density at temperatures below 700° C. with hydrogen or hydrocarbon fuels. The low temperature conversion of chemical energy to electrical energy allows the fabrication of the fuel cells using stainless steel or other metal alloys rather than ceramic conductive oxides as the interconnects.

The gasket is formed from an elastic material which forms a tight seal between the inner peripheral surface of the enclosure and with the outer peripheral surface of each of the sub-part cable components to seal the other end of the enclosure.

The catalyst active layer sheet is formed by a tape casting method using a plurality of pieces of slurry having different catalyst contents, and the catalyst content within the catalyst active layer sheet is gradually changed in a flow direction of the fuel. In the solid oxide fuel cell, a temperature deviation of a unit cell is minimized by uniformly reforming the fuel in the flow direction of the fuel, thereby improving mechanical and chemical durability.
