  • Patent number: 11712782
Abstract: An abrasive head with clean gas infeed for cleaning/removing material surfaces and splitting/cutting materials by a liquid beam enriched with solid abrasive particles to extend the tool lifetime by eliminating damage to the liquid jet's aperture by the abrasive, avoid degrading the abrasive inside the tool and increase the cutting power and flow efficiency.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 20, 2019
Date of Patent: August 1, 2023
    Inventors: Jiri Mestanek, Zdenek Riha

  • Patent number: 10478944
Abstract: The recycling unit is the technology for the continuously controlled process of recycling and drying screened abrasive during which the intensity of batching of the abrasive is regulated according to the temperature in the drying oven. The control system continuously measures the current temperature and on the basis of this data it decides on switching the heating elements on or off or turning the batching process on or off; this control is based on the temperature hysteresis and on changing the intensity of batching of abrasive, which is subject to switching the heating elements or turning the batching process on or off.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 16, 2016
Date of Patent: November 19, 2019
    Assignee: PTV, spol. s r. o.

  • Patent number: 10345042
Abstract: Drying of recycled abrasive that can be recycled separated or as a part of the full recycling system. Sorted and meshed wet recycled abrasive is kept in a hopper for wet recycled abrasive, it is continuously delivered using a screw feeder into a drying chamber on a vibration mesh. Air is blown in the chamber, using an air flow generator, under a vibration mesh. The recycled abrasive is moved and lifted on the mesh using air flow and mesh vibration, this provides for clots of recycled abrasive to break down to particles of recycled abrasive and abrasive mixes and dries.
