    Abstract: Apparatus for processing low-grade collected waste paper. Short, so-called zero fibers, which form up to 30 percent of the whole material, and which substantially reduce the quality of paper manufactured therewith are removed, and the bonding properties of the long fiber fraction are removed. It is possible by use of the apparatus to process to paper of good quality from collected low-grade waste paper without previous manual separation of different kinds of waste paper.
