  • Publication number: 20110074671
Abstract: This invention provides a display apparatus which mounts a tilt sensor, and can control whether or not the user makes an image feed operation based on the tilt. An image display apparatus includes a display unit which displays image data recorded in a recording medium, an instruction accepting unit which accepts an instruction to make the image feed operation according to the tilt of the image display apparatus from the user, a tilt detection unit which detects the tilt of the image display apparatus with respect to a predetermined direction, and a display control unit which controls the display unit to display and switch the image data in accordance with a change in tilt detected by the tilt detection unit, when the instruction accepting unit accepts the instruction and the tilt detection unit detects the change in tilt.

  • Publication number: 20100094918
Abstract: This invention allows a user to easily classify and manage image files by recording an image file obtained by image capture and an image file obtained by being received from an external apparatus in different folders. For this purpose, a system control unit which controls an overall digital camera determines whether the latest image data stored in a storage medium is image data captured in an image pickup mode or image data received in a communication mode which allows communication with the outside. The system control unit then determines whether the current mode is the image pickup mode or the mode which allows reception. If the current mode coincides with neither of the two modes, since it indicates that the source of the image data to be saved in a storage medium differs from the source of the latest saved image data, the system control unit turns on a folder creation flag for the creation of a folder.

  • Patent number: 7499567
Abstract: Parameters to be set in an electronic device are generated with a simple operation, and further, safely in terms of security. For this purpose, upon generation of setting parameters for an electronic device having a radio LAN function and an image sensing function, first, parameters necessary for radio LAN communication are inputted. Then, a secret key for encryption of the input parameters is inputted. Thereafter, the input parameters are encrypted with the secret key, thus encrypted information is generated. A two-dimensional barcode image is generated from the encrypted information, and the image is visibly outputted to be subjected to image sensing utilizing the image sensing function.

  • Publication number: 20070120955
Abstract: In a parameter setting method, when a wireless communication device has wired connection to a different device, the wired connection is used to acquire wireless setting values. If the wireless communication device has no wired connection to the different device, short distance wireless communication is used to acquire the wireless setting values from the different device. When the wireless setting values are acquired, notifying to the user is performed depending on an acquisition method.

  • Publication number: 20060238622
Abstract: In an imaging apparatus that enables still image shooting during movie recording in a movie recording mode, a first AF area to be focused is set in a imaging field, in still image shooting in a still image shooting mode, and focus control is implemented by utilizing the first AF area. In movie recording in the movie recording mode, focus control is implemented, by utilizing a second AF area that is set independently from the first AF area. In the case where, during the movie recording, still image shooting is instructed, focus control for the still image shooting is implemented, based on the second AF area instead of the first AF area.
