  • Patent number: 9345635
Abstract: A device for massaging a human body cavity includes a substantially cylindrical shaft having a length and a diameter configured to fit inside the human body cavity, wherein an outer surface of the substantially cylindrical shaft forms an asymmetric ridge such that the substantially cylindrical shaft has a non-round cross-sectional profile. A device for massaging a human body cavity may have the asymmetric ridge running in a direction parallel a longitudinal axis of the substantially cylindrical shaft or along a spiral path on an outer surface of the substantially cylindrical shaft. The device for massaging a human body cavity may have a solid core or a hallow core. The device may include a core made of a first material and a surface coating made of a second material.

  • Publication number: 20150283024
Abstract: The device for massaging a human body cavity includes a substantially cylindrical shaft having a length and a diameter configured to fit inside the human body cavity and an asymmetric edge created inside of any auxiliary symmetric figures such as triangles, squares, or ovals. The asymmetry of the massager's cross section allows for twisting motions when pressure from the body cavity is exerted on the massager.

  • Publication number: 20120259316
Abstract: A catheter in accordance with one embodiment of the invention includes a first end, a second end, and a body, which comprises one or more segments, disposed between said first end and said second end, wherein at least one of the one or more segments has a first section and a second section, wherein the first section has a first tapered surface with a diameter increasing from a first edge to a ridge and a second section has a second tapered surface with a diameter decreasing from the ridge to a second edge, and wherein a first volume enclosed between said first tapered surface in the first section and an imaginary cylinder circumscribing the ridge is smaller than a second volume enclosed between the second tapered surface in the second section and the imaginary cylinder.

  • Patent number: 8182503
Abstract: An apparatus for massaging a prostate includes a body having a substantially ellipsoid shape and sized to fit in a rectum through a sphincter, wherein the body comprises a head portion and a neck portion, wherein the head portion is configured to contact the prostate through the rectum wall when inserted in the rectum, and wherein the neck portion has a tapered section with gradually reducing diameters distal to the head portion; and a retainer bar joined the body at one end of the neck portion to form a substantially T-shaped structure, wherein the retainer bar comprises two contact points for contacting a first acupressure point, which is located in the perineum region between the anus and the scrotum, and a second acupressure point, which is located about midway between the anus and the lower end of the coccyx.

  • Publication number: 20100179517
Abstract: The catheter of the present invention includes a first end with a rounded top, a second end, and a plurality of segments between the first end and the second end. The catheter may also include a connection to a medical device. Each segment has a first tapered surface with a diameter increasing from a first edge to the tapered surface edge and second tapered surface with a diameter decreasing from the tapered surface edge to a second edge. The taper surface edge has the widest diameter of the segment. The widest section of the segment is approximately between 4 mm and 6 mm inclusive for the urethral catheter. A maximum length of the segment is approximately 1.5 times the length of the diameter of the segment at the tapered surface edge. The length of the second tapered surface is greater than the length of the first tapered surface.

  • Publication number: 20090156971
Abstract: The hemorrhoid treatment device has a head and a shaft. The head has a spherical shape which is between 6 and 14 millimeters in diameter. The shaft has a cylindrical shape extending from the head. The minimum length of the shaft is 30 mm. The surface area of the head is equal to the surface area of a portion of the shaft. The portion of the shaft is defined from a portion adjacent to the head and 1.5 cm to 4.0 cm from the head.
