  • Publication number: 20100240557
Abstract: A perfluoropolyether oil composition, which comprises a perfluoro-polyether base oil, preferably a thickener-containing perfluoropolyether base oil, and a fluorine-containing di- or mono-amide-based compound having a perfluoropolyether group, where 0.01 to 50% by weight of the amide-based compound, based on total weight of the base oil and the amide-based compound, is contained when the perfluoropolyether oil composition is used as a lubricating oil composition, particularly grease, and 0.01 to 90% by weight thereof is contained, when the perfluoropolyether oil composition is used as an electrode-coating agent for a cell. The perfluoropolyether oil composition shows a metal surface protective action against corrosive gases such as sulfide gases, etc. without deteriorating the abrasion resistance, and also shows a distinguished high temperature durability even in the presence of graphite or molybdenum disulfide.

  • Publication number: 20080167208
Abstract: A lubricant in the form of lubricating oil or grease, for use in contact with graphite or molybdenum disulfide or in contact with aluminum materials, which comprises a perfluoropolyether oil free from (CF2O)n groups as a repeat unit of polymer and having a kinetic viscosity at 40° C. of 50-1,500 mm2/sec., as a base oil, where F(CF2CF2CF2O)mC2F5 or RfO[CF(CF3)CF2O]p(CF2CF2O)qRf? s used as the perfluoropolyether base oil. The lubricant undergoes no considerable deterioration of high-temperature characteristics (high-temperature durability), even if used in various uses as mentioned above, and also has distinguished low-temperature characteristics when the base oil has a kinetic viscosity of 50-250 mm2/sec.

  • Patent number: 6905248
Abstract: An electroconductive grease-filled bearing is a rolling bearing comprising an inner race 11 and an outer race 12, both of the races being coaxially provided, a plurality of steel balls 13 radially being retained between track surfaces of the races, the bearing rotatably supporting the edge of heating roll 6a in the fixing section of an electrostatic transfer copying machine, fixed to the inner periphery of inner race 11, an electroconductive grease to be filled between the track surfaces comprising a fluorocarbon oil as a base oil and graphite (or together with polytetrafluoroethylene) as a thickening agent. The electroconductive grease has a distinguished electroconductance so as to effectively discharge the static electricity, and has a distinguished heat-resistant durability even at elevated temperatures, and also prevents revolution failure due to the increased torque caused by an excessive lowering in the grease consistency, while maintaining the good electroconductance.
