  • Patent number: 11432345
Abstract: The formulation and execution of a connectivity policy is disclosed herein to improve the performance of a wireless network (WN). A wireless access point (WAP) within the WN identifies electronic devices that have been granted access to the WN and/or are associated with the WAP to provide a connectivity catalog that forms the basis of the connectivity policy. This connectivity catalog is communicated to other WAPs within the network. In some situations, these other WAPs can execute the connectivity policy to deny access to electronic devices within the connectivity catalog to their corresponding networks. For example, these other WAPs can execute the connectivity policy on those electronic devices that are within a prescribed connectivity distance from the WAP that provided the connectivity catalog.

  • Publication number: 20060128812
Abstract: Process for the preparation of 2-[(diphenylmethyl)thioacetamide, an intermediate for the preparation of Modafinil which is a CNS stimulant and used for the treatment of narcolepsia. The process comprises reacting 2-[(diphenylmethyl)thio]acetic acid with alcohols, in presence of catalytic amount of inorganic acid or organic acid at reflux temperature of alcohol to obtain corresponding ester which is reacted with ammonia to give 2-[(diphenylmethyl)thio]acetamide. If desired 2-[(diphenylmethyl)thioacetamide thus produced is reacted with hydrogen peroxide to produce Modafinil.
