  • Patent number: 11783652
Abstract: Methods and systems for monitoring occupant health within a building. An illustrative method may include storing one or more illness behavioral models, capturing and storing over time a history of behaviors for each of a plurality of occupants of the building, identifying one or more current behaviors of a particular one of the plurality of occupants, determining whether the current behaviors of the occupant match one or more of the behaviors defined in the one or more illness behavioral models, determining whether the current behaviors of the occupant deviate from behaviors captured and stored in the history of behaviors for the occupant, and issuing an alert directing that the occupant undergo additional health screening when the current behaviors of the occupant match one or more of the behaviors defined in the illness behavioral models or deviate from behaviors captured and stored in the history of behaviors for the occupant.

  • Publication number: 20210398691
Abstract: Methods and systems for location tracking or maintaining a count of people in a building or space. An illustrative method may include storing a background image of a field of view of a video camera and receiving a video stream from the video camera. Background subtraction may be performed to identify one or more blobs in the field of view of the video camera. The size of the one or more blobs may be compared to an expected size of the blob at a similar distance from the camera. When the size of the blob is greater than the expected size of a person at the determined distance of the corresponding blob by more than a predetermined threshold the blob may be counted as two or more people.

  • Publication number: 20210391089
Abstract: Methods and systems for reducing a risk of spread of an illness in a building. In one example, a method for monitoring a risk of spread of an illness in a building may comprise capturing video of a surveilled area in the building, identifying individuals in the captured video and performing behavior analytics on the individuals identified in the captured video. The behavior analytics may include determining a risky behavior metric that identifies a measure of risky behavior of the individuals identified in the captured video that is based at least in part on a distance between two of the individuals identified in the captured video and a time that the distance between the two of the individuals is below a predetermined distance threshold. An alert may be issued when the risky behavior metric exceeds a risk threshold.
