    Abstract: Improving performance of a video analytics algorithm includes obtaining desired video parameters for achieving a desired accuracy level, and identifying one or more of the video parameters of the video stream. One or more of the video parameters are compared with a corresponding one of the desired video parameters to ascertain whether one or more of the video parameters diverge from the corresponding one of the desired video parameters by at least a threshold amount. When one or more of the video parameters diverge from the corresponding one of the desired video parameters by at least the threshold amount, one or more of the video parameters are adjusted toward the corresponding one of the desired video parameters.

    Abstract: A method for enhancing a reference image includes processing the reference image via a generator network to provide an enhanced image by applying a first pre-processing to the reference image and then applying a plurality of first layers of residual blocks to extract features. A first post-processing is then applied. A conversion layer, such as one of a night vision conversion layer and an air pollution conversion layer, is then applied. A plurality of second layers of residual blocks are applied after one of the night vision conversion layer and the air pollution conversion layer are applied, and then a second post-processing is applied which includes upscaling the output of the plurality of second layers of residual blocks, resulting in the enhanced image.

A vantage point transformation is applied to each of two or more objects captured in two or more of the plurality of video streams, the vantage point transformation transforming a view of each of the two or more objects from the camera vantage point of the corresponding video camera to a common vantage point.     Abstract: A surveillance system includes fixed video cameras and mobile security devices. Each mobile security device includes a mobile video camera, a memory, a transceiver and a controller that is configured to receive instructions from a surveillance system controller to fly to a particular location at which an incident is believed to be occurring and to instruct the mobile video camera to capture video of the incident. In some cases, the controller of the mobile security device is configured to solicit and receive one or more video streams from fixed video cameras that are determined to meet predetermined criteria with respect to the incident, and store the one or more received video streams in the memory. The controller of the mobile security device may subsequently transmit the collected video streams to the surveillance system controller.
