Abstract: An alveolar membrane includes: a connecting portion being provided thereon with a through hole for an artificial toothroot to pass therethrough; a capping portion having its one end connected to the connecting portion and including a plurality of openings; and a fixing portion being located at an opposite end of the capping portion and having at least one digit that has a tip to be fixed in osseous tissue or between osseous tissue and soft tissue. With the connecting portion and the fixing portion at its two ends both fixed, the alveolar membrane firmly holds the osseous graft in position.

Calcium sulfate is anhydrous calcium made by removing crystallization water of beta calcium sulfate hemihydrate.

Abstract: A gingival retraction material is prepared using fibrillated fibers to improve viscosity and combining taste-modifying agent, color agent, and kaolin filler to form a paste-like structure having the viscosity ranging from 31.0×106 cP to 71.0×106 cP. The gingival material is injectable into the patient's gingival sulcus to provide a physical active force that widens the patient's gingival sulcus by means of the material viscosity and also to control gingival tissue fluid and hemostasis so as to keep the gingival sulcus dry for further mold impressions.

Abstract: A micro-implantable apparatus and method for the stability assessment of a two-stage dental implant during Osseo integration processes, whose detection device is based on a transmission of a pulse wave signal from an upper opening of an implant and a subsequent analysis of the reflection waves that measure the changes in mechanical interlock between the bone and the implant resulted from the wound healing processes happened at the gap between bone-implant interface. The incorporation of RF coils in the detection device provides a mean to transmit and to receive the detection waves, which makes it possible for such a device to be operated in a wireless setting. This device also includes an energy storage, which serve as a temporary power supply unit to effectively eliminate the need for signal wires and power cores, which in turn further increases the applicability and safety of such a device as a passive, implant able apparatus.

Abstract: A water supply device for divers includes a cylinder connected to a mouthpiece and a piston member is movably received in the cylinder so that when the piston member is moved by pushing a push rod connected to the piston member, water in the cylinder flows out from the cylinder and enters into the mouthpiece. The piston member has a central passage defined longitudinally therethrough and has a threaded portion defined in a periphery defining the central passage. The push rod extends through the central passage of the piston member and has a threaded section engaged with the threaded portion of the piston member. The push rod is disengaged from the threaded portion of the piston member and received in the cylinder when the push rod is not in use.

Abstract: A fishing device includes a base having a receiving member and a guiding sleeve securely connected to the receiving member. The guiding sleeve includes a positioning section at a distal end thereof for mounting a net. A first gate is mounted between the receiving member and the guiding sleeve, the first gate being openable only in a direction which towards the guiding sleeve. A movable seat is mounted in the guiding sleeve and includes an opening defined therein. A second gate is mounted in the opening and openable only in a direction the same as that of the first gate. A cylinder includes an end connected to the positioning section, and a piston rod is partially, reciprocatingly received in the cylinder. The piston rod includes an end securely attached to the movable seat to move therewith. The piston rod together with the movable seat are urged to reciprocatingly move in a longitudinal direction of the guiding sleeve.

A cylindrical member is engaged through the bag and the housing and includes an outer thread. A nut is engaged with the cylindrical member for securing the bag to the housing. A cap is engaged on the cylindrical member and a sealing ring is engaged between the cap and the cylindrical member for making a water tight seal. A ferrule is engaged with the cylindrical member and includes an annular flange for engaging with the cap and for retaining the cap in place. A sleeve may be secured to a snorkel assembly. The housing includes a pair of curved panels for engaging with the sleeve and for securing the housing to the sleeve.

Abstract: A drinking device for divers includes a bag in which edible liquid is contained, a pipe, a cylinder and a pump, the pipe is connected between the bag and the cylinder via the pump, the cylinder is disposed to a mouthpiece received in a diver's mouth and has an inlet and an outlet defined therein and a piston movably engaged therein. A conduit is connected between the mouthpiece and the outlet of the cylinder such that the liquid contained in the bag is pushed into the diver's mouth via the pipe, the cylinder, the outlet and the conduit by operating the piston. A wire connected between the pump and the mouthpiece has an operation button disposed to a distal end thereof received in the mouthpiece such that the liquid is pumped into the diver's mouth by biting of the button by the diver.
