The safety lid includes a lid body for covering the inner pot, an inner rim extending from the lid body for lockably engaging with an upper rim of the outer pot, and an outer rim extending from the lid body and being substantially concentric with the inner rim. The inner rim and the outer rim of the safety lid are spaced apart to define an annular groove for receiving an upper rim of the housing. At least a portion of the bottom wall of the apparatus has a contour substantially matching a contour of at least a portion of the exterior surface of the lid of the electric pressure cooker. Abstract: An apparatus and a method for improving short message service dependability by reducing the risk of an SM being loss due to failure in a network having both an SMS routers and an SMSC and in which forward and store delivery or Early-Ack is enabled in the router. Alternative apparatus and methods are presented which mitigate the possibility of losing an SM before it is delivered to a recipient or received and persistently stored by the SMSC by placing the SM in a survivable storage medium before acknowledgement of the SM is sent to the submitter of the SM and by providing a recovery mechanism that can re-attempt a delivery or a forwarding of the SM, based on the content of the survivable storage medium, in the case of a failure.

Abstract: A method (FIG. 5) and apparatus (FIG. 3) to provide control and policy enforcement of WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) services in a wireless data networks is taught herein. WAP traffic is inspected with efficient algorithms to intercept un-registered WAP access and intercept dynamic change of user service selection. The intercepted WAP requests are modified with value-added parameters (such as QoS and subscriber identifiers) as per user and service provider agreement and table data. A series of strategies are described to blend wireless intelligence, user preference and service subscription, network operator requirements and service provider or enterprise preferences into routing and drive page generation. The means to dynamically provision users' service choices to wireless network elements are also presented without having to break the session within the system.

The processing is based on the identity of the sender and the receiver specified criteria. The method comprising the steps of: designating a message as rejected, trusted or untrusted by applying the criteria to the identity of the sender of the message, disposing of a rejected message, annotating an accepted message as trusted or untrusted and forwarding the accepted message for delivery to the receiver. The method can apply further filter criteria based on a category indicator associated with the message.
