Abstract: The present application provides an indoor vision positioning system and a mobile robot. The indoor vision positioning system is configured to locate a target body, and includes an image acquisition device, an image processing device and a control device; the image acquisition device includes a monochromatic illumination module and a monocular camera both mounted to the target body, and the monocular camera is in communication connection with the image processing device; the image processing device is in communication connection with the control device; the control device is in communication connection with the target body, and controls movement of the target body according to the position data feedback by the image processing device and a preset control parameter.

Abstract: A method for recognizing the position of a mobile robot by comparing images has the steps of a mobile robot illuminating a shooting area to be photographed using a monochromatic lighting unit, the mobile robot photographing the position image corresponding to the shooting area and a narrow band filter passes only the light emitted by the monochromatic lighting unit with the light having same wavelength emitted from the monochromatic lighting unit, reflective or light absorbing material are randomly placed on the shooting area to increase the contrast ratio, and the mobile robot acquiring the reference image corresponding to the trajectory of the mobile robot from the known position image set, wherein the known position image set corresponds to a predetermined trajectory and the known position image set includes a plurality of reference images. A mobile robot may have monochrome lighting for illuminating a shooting area to be photographed.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for analyzing a fluid containing light scattering components. The apparatus includes a laser adapted to direct abeam of light into the fluid such as a liquid containing particles, and at least two detectors to receive light scattered by the fluid, which received light is used to calculate a physical property of the fluid. A focusing lens may be used to focus the light beam to a focal waist in the fluid to enhance the degree of spatial coherence of the scattered light. The two detectors are aligned onto the focal waist and are adapted to send a signal to a data processor which correlates the signal received from said two detectors. The two detectors are spaced a substantially equal distance from the focal waist and are oriented at substantially the same angle with respect to the direction of propagation of the incident beam. The data processor is adapted to cross-correlate the signals received from the two detectors.
