    Abstract: Reactive polymeric compositions are prepared by subjecting arylcyclobutene monomeric compositions to polymerization conditions to provide a partially polymerized composition; and removing the partially polymerized composition from said conditions. The partially polymerized composition can be subsequently subjected to polymerization and curing conditions to provide a cured polymeric composition.
