    Abstract: Relatively small particles of glass (i.e., glass swarf) are generated as a by-product of glass grinding, typically performed to smooth edges of a glass product. Disclosed herein is an inventive method of reducing the tendency of the glass swarf to accumulate and harden, thereby improving the ability to maintain a glass grinding facility. According to the present invention, a loosening agent is mixed with the glass swarf to prevent it from accumulating and hardening.
