    Abstract: Provided is a positive electrode active material which includes an inner region that is a region from the center of the positive electrode active material particle to R/2, and an outer region that is a region from R/2 to the surface of the positive electrode active material particle, wherein R is a distance from the center of the positive electrode active material particle to the surface thereof. The positive electrode active material further includes 25% to 80% of crystallites C with respect to a total number of crystallites in the outer region. The crystallites C have a high crystallite long-axis orientation degree of 0.5 to 1 and a low crystallite c-axis orientation degree less than 0.5. Thus, the positive electrode active material has high capacity characteristics and a small amount of gas generated.

    Abstract: A porous polymer structure having a smooth surface and a porous structure embedded below the surface can be simply produced by using a hydrophobic substrate with a steam spraying process, and the porous polymer structure can exhibit very excellent low-adhesive property due to the smooth surface and the porous structure embedded below the surface. It is possible to realize excellent low-adhesive property even without using a surface modifier or a lubricant. Since the structure shows flexibility, it can even be attached to a curved surface, and can be usefully applied to various industries due to a possible adjustment of the surface characteristic.

A database management system receives a request to load, into the database object, a first set of records that are in a first state. The system stores the first set of records, in their first state, within the sub-segment. The system then monitors one or more characteristics of the database system. In response to the one or more characteristics satisfying criteria, the system performs a migration of one or more records of the first set of records from the sub-segment to the base segment. During the migration, the system converts the one or more records from the first state to a second state and stores the one or more records, in their second state, in the base segment.
