  • Publication number: 20240383576
Abstract: The invention concerns a mooring line for a floating platform, preferably a floating wind turbine platform, the mooring line comprising: a first segment able to be attached to the platform; a second segment able to be attached to a sea ground; at least an intermediate segment formed of an elastomeric material and arranged between the first segment and the second segment. The intermediate segment is able to provide a maximal extension greater than 100% of the rest length of the intermediate segment, advantageously a maximal extension greater than 300%. The intermediate segment presents a minimal breaking strength greater than 18 MPa, advantageously greater than 25 MPa.

  • Patent number: 11448347
Abstract: A tubular joint having an outer part formed by a fitting end of a piping element, and defining a first axis, an inner part formed by a spigot end of another piping element, the spigot end received in the fitting end. The fitting end and the spigot end define a fluid internal circulation space. A flange attached on the outer part and axially abutting against a shoulder formed by the inner part. A layer of polymeric material, extending radially between the outer and inner part, having a radially outer and inner surface both surrounding the first axis and bonded respectively to the outer and inner parts. The inner part rotatable with respect to the outer part about the first axis, and the inner part defining a second axis forming a pitch angle with the first axis. The inner part, the outer part, and the flange limit the pitch angle to lower than 5°.

  • Patent number: 7011599
Abstract: A speed reduction gear train comprising a sun gear, an annular gear, and planet gears meshing with the sun gear and the annular gear and mounted in a cage having axial housings between pairs of adjacent planet gears. The cage is connected to a cage carrier having axial arms received in the housings by radial pins disposed in the midplane of the cage by means of spherical finger connections allowing the cage carrier to tilt and to move axially relative to the cage.
