Abstract: A device for dispensing an iron oxide based powder makeup includes a hinged thin compact case and an annular module joined to the case interior. Extending across the module, a transverse portion divides the compact into first and second regions. An apertured cover encloses the first region, confining an iron oxide powder makeup therein. A plate mounted cork surface in facing relationship to the cover sparingly receives the iron oxide powder through the aperture array. The cork surfaced plate is coupled to the transverse portion of the module by a live hinge. Plate latches are provided for securing the plate in a first position flush to the cover, and a second position, providing access to the powder adhering cork surface.
