  • Publication number: 20250216667
Abstract: The angled shoe interface provides a mechanical interface for connecting night vision devices to the sliding carriage of a conventional night vision device mount to selectively orient the line of sight of the night vision device relative to the longitudinal axis of the mount rail. Each angled shoe interface has a wedge-shaped body with differing angled top and bottom surfaces to provide the desired angular orientation of the line of sight of night vision device relative to the longitudinal axis of the mount rail. Individual users can interchange different angled shoe interfaces to properly orient the night vision device's line of sight based on the shape and size of the user's head and how the helmet is donned.

  • Publication number: 20250137749
Abstract: The waistband supports securely support a holstered firearm without the need for a separately worn belt. The waistband supports form part of the construction of any type or style of trousers or shorts, and provide a sturdy interface for conventional holster clips used with conventional inside-the-waistband firearm holsters. The waistband supports generally take the form of a length of nylon webbing, but may be lengths of leather or other heavy sturdy fabric sewn to the waistband of the trousers or shorts. The waistband supports are sewn to the exterior of the waistband along the side and top edges with the bottom edge “open”, i.e. not stitched to receive the hook end of the holster clips. The “open” bottom edge of the waistband support allows the clip hook to engage the bottom edge of the waistband support to secure the holster in place within the trousers or shorts.

  • Publication number: 20250072540
Abstract: The fast rope gloves include weighted slugs sewn into or bonded to the distal ends of each digit sleeve to assist in doffing the glove. The slugs are sewn to the back of the digit sleeves overlying the wearer's thumb nail or finger nails. The weights allow the user to fling the gloves off the hands by swinging the arms downward in a rapid movement.

  • Patent number: 12209843
Abstract: An attachment for conventional weapon mounted lasers that provides a larger and more convenient and ergonomic interface of actuating the laser. The laser attachment is molded or formed as a single piece from a pliable rubber or similar material and has a switch cover and a pair of opposed side straps. The side straps are dimensioned and configured to wrap around the laser and affix to the bottom of the laser. The switch cover is dimensioned and configured to seat and nest over the activation switch on the top of the laser. The switch cover has interior (bottom) and exterior (top) surfaces that substantially mirror the profile to the activation switch; however, the switch cover has a diameter larger than the activation switch. Depressing any area of the switch cover actuates the laser. The larger surface area of the switch cover provides improved acquisition for the user without increasing size or footprint of the laser.

  • Publication number: 20240172724
Abstract: The protective boots are wrap style boots that cover and protective the canine's paws and upper legs and include thin internal stiffeners that prevent the boot from sagging down the dog's leg. The stiffeners are a thin narrow strip of polymeric plastic. Each boot has a central stay stiffener and a pair of side stiffeners. The central stay stiffener covers the sole of the boot and extends up the length of the boot's back stay reinforcing the boot's sole and back stay. The side stiffeners sandwich and reinforce the boot's upper around the canine's leg. The protective boot is secured about the canine leg by laces and a pair of straps, which also helps prevent the boot from sliding or sagging over the canine wrist.

  • Publication number: 20220104567
Abstract: The fast rope gloves incorporate a plurality of polymer friction pads bonded to the anterior surface of the gloves at select locations. The friction pads provide the wear surface and thermal barrier between the gloved hand and the fast rope. The friction pads include a number of differently sized pads bonded to the fingers and thumb sleeve and the palm sections of the anterior side of the gloves.

  • Publication number: 20220015476
Abstract: The glove incorporates pull tabs on the posterior side of the digit sleeves. The pull tabs are located adjacent the distal tip of the digit sleeves, approximately positioned on the sleeve over where the wearer's fingernail would be within the sleeve. The pull tabs extend from the posterior surface of the digit sleeves enough to be grasped by a wearer's opposite hand or gripped in the wearer's teeth to assist in doffing the glove with little exposure to the anterior contact surfaces of the glove and without interfering with the functionality of the glove or wearer.

  • Patent number: 10551150
Abstract: A body armor plate having an integral Molle compatible front covering that allows pouches and other Molle compatible accessories to be directly affixed to the plate. The armor plate includes a ballistic core, an integral front covering of durable fabric having a plurality of horizontal slits arranged in a Molle compatible array and a rear covering of hook or loop pile fabric material. The array of slits in the integral front cover of the armor plate allows Molle compatible pouches to be directly attached to the plate, thereby eliminating the need for a separate plate carrier or vest and greatly reduces the overall weight and bulk of the personal armor system. The hook and/or loop pile material of the integral back covering of the armor plate itself allows support straps to be connected directly to the plate without additional support or carrier apparatus needed to hold the plates to a wearer.

  • Patent number: 10251464
Abstract: The backpack has a main body that unfolds to lie flat providing ready access to the contents of the pack and various separate accessory pouches carried within the main body of the pack. The main body of the backpack is formed by a flat back panel, a pair of flat side panels and a top panel. The side panels and the top panel are integrally connected to the back panel and fold together to fashion the main body of the backpack in a folded orientation and unfold to lie flat side-by-side in an unfolded orientation. The panels are adapted to selectively support a variety of detachable accessory pouches. They provide compartment for stowing items to be carried in the backpack.

  • Patent number: 9839279
Abstract: Attachment apparatus for mounting a pouch to the straps of a support article, such as a chest rig, harness, backpack or the like. The attachment apparatus includes pair of locking tab and cord loops mounted to a pouch that couple together around the straps of a support article to secure the pouch to the support article. The locking tabs have a main section and a distal end that folds back over the main section and is bar tacked together so that the distal end lays back over the main section to form a “locking end.” The locking tab extends through the tab loop and is interposed between the main section and the overlying distal end.

  • Patent number: 9791225
Abstract: The charging handle assembly uses a magnetic latching mechanism to replace the spring loaded latch mechanism common on conventional M16/AR-15 style weapons. The magnetic latching mechanism consists of magnetically attracting plugs mounted to or within the upper receiver and the charging handle. The magnetic attraction between the adjacent plugs provides the locking force to secure the charging handle in the closed position while still allowing the user to manually pull the handle to the open position when necessary.

  • Publication number: 20170064928
Abstract: A canine handling apparatus for tethering a dog to a handler so that the handler maintains use of both hands while maintaining positive control of the dog. The handling apparatus includes in combination a collar, a handler sling and a lead, which are detachably connected together by a pair of carabiners. The collar, sling and leads are made from nylon webbing and use quick connect buckles and adjustment slides. The collar includes two opposed tag loops of braid cord or cable and a D-ring, which are oriented along the length of collar to be 180 degrees directly opposite one another. The sling has an integrated pouch for stowing small items, such as small bags for collecting dog feces.

  • Publication number: 20170055610
Abstract: The shooting gloves of this invention improves the shooter's ability to maintain the proper grip and hand orientation on a handgun. The shooting gloves have select areas on the outside of the glove covered by a viscid coating or sections of material that provide a tacky surface texture to the gloves. The viscid areas are strategically located on the gloves so that the viscid areas of the opposite glove contact each other when the shooter takes a conventional two handed grip of a handgun. The contacting viscid areas provide enhanced tactile feel and increased mechanical friction between the gloves that helps the shooter maintain the proper grip and hand position as the handgun is discharged. It should be noted that the viscid areas are located on the gloves not so as to directly contact the handgun, but are located on the gloves to directly contact corresponding or mating viscid areas of the other glove.
