The method includes providing an automation device for controlling at least one piece of automation equipment; receiving, at an input of the automation device, input data; storing, at an input process image, the input data; executing, at a processor of the automation device, an automation program to generate output data based on the input data; storing, at an output process image of the automation device, the output data; and storing, in a buffer, the input process image and the output process image.

Abstract: In a method for producing porous composite bodies, which have a support structure made of a material having good thermal conductivity and which have at least one functional material, a multiplicity of shaped bodies (1) made of the functional material are coated with the material having good thermal conductivity and a solid connection between the coated shaped bodies (1) is established in order to form the support structure made of the material having good thermal conductivity. The coating (2) is generated with a porous structure or is provided with a porous structure, which, after the solid connection has been established, permits access for a liquid or gaseous medium through the coating to the functional material. The method permits cost-effective production of porous composite bodies with very good heat transfer properties.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method of a composite material from superposed layers of solid and frothable metallic materials. The structural component consists of at least one layer of a solid metallic material and at least one layer of frothable metallic material. The structural component may be structured as a composite sheet or as a hollow body. The fabrication method of the structural component insures a good bond between the solid metallic layer and the frothable layer and that the frothable layer is securely attached to the solid metallic layer.

Abstract: A method is described for manufacturing foamable metal bodies in which a ture (17) of a metal powder (15) and a gas-splitting propellent powder (16) is hot-compacted to a semifinished product (19) at a temperature at which the joining of the metal powder particles takes place primarily by diffusion and at a pressure which is sufficiently high to hinder the decomposition of the propellent in such fashion that the metal particles form a solid bond with one another and constitute a gas-tight seal for the gas particles of the propellant. The foamable metal body can also be produced by rolling. In addition, a use of the foamable metal body (19) thus produced for manufacturing a porous metal body (21) is proposed.
