  • Publication number: 20130132243
Abstract: Various embodiments of systems and methods for handling invoice based services are described herein. In one aspect, the method executed by the one or more computers in a network of computers includes receiving an invoice service message related to a business process, analyzing the invoice service message, based upon the analysis, identifying a business-specific implementation, from one or more business-specific implementations, for processing the invoice service message, and executing the business-specific implementation to process the invoice service message. The automatic identification of the business-specific implementation for processing the invoice service message relieves a business partner from specifying an application-specific interface for processing the invoice service message.

  • Patent number: 8438190
Abstract: In an embodiment of the invention, analytical data may be extracted from a business intelligence (BI) system on criteria specified in metadata of a business intelligence query. Once the data is extracted from the BI system, the extracted content may be provided in the context of semantic identifiers. In an embodiment, the semantic identifiers may provide a description of the extracted content associated with the identifier. In one embodiment, the semantic identifiers may be obtained from the criteria specified in the query. In another embodiment, the semantic identifiers may be defined in and obtained from a separate enterprise service repository. In an embodiment, a proposed mapping between query elements and semantic identifiers may be suggested by a processor.

  • Patent number: 7593916
Abstract: Data administration may be managed by receiving in a computer system a first input identifying a data object to be assigned to a control object in the computer system. A second input for the control object is received in the computer system. The second input specifies a relationship between 1) model-level changes to the data object, and 2) instance-level changes to the data object. After the first and second inputs are received, the control object is sent to another computer system. The control object may be accessed to determine whether a system is authorized to make an object change. This access can be by the system about to make the change, or by a system that receives the object change from another system.
