Abstract: An electronic unit suitable for being positioned on an internal face of a tread of a tire with a view to measuring operating parameters of a vehicle wheel equipped with the tire. The electronic unit includes: a body, configured to be embedded into the thickness of the tire, in a housing provided for this purpose, and includes sensors dedicated to measuring operating parameters of the wheel, a head, arranged at one end of the body, including a circuit board for managing information output from the sensors of the body and a way of communicating with a central unit installed in the vehicle; a way for connecting the elements with which the body is equipped and the elements with which the head is equipped; and a way to supply the electronic unit with power.

Abstract: The subject of the present invention is an electronic unit (1) suitable for being positioned on an inner surface (Fi) of a tread of a tire (P) with a view to measuring operating parameters of a vehicle wheel fitted with said tire, the electronic unit being characterized in that it comprises: a body (2) configured to be embedded within the thickness of said tire, in a housing provided for this purpose, and including sensors (4) for measuring operating parameters of the wheel; a a head (3), arranged at one end of the body and comprising a circuit board (5) for managing information from the sensors on the body and communication means (6) for communicating with a central unit on board the vehicle; connection means (8) for connecting the elements fitted to the body to the elements fitted to the head; and a means (7) for supplying the electronic unit with power.

Abstract: Vehicle wheel includes a rim and a pneumatic tire which includes a tread, two side walls, a carcass, reinforcing elements, and two tire beads with bead cores. An emergency running support body is supported on the rim which is arranged to support one of the pneumatic tire and an interior of the tread in an event of an emergency condition. The emergency running support body includes a shell-shaped ring body located inside the pneumatic tire and an emergency running surface on its exterior. At least one container, which contains a lubricant, is positioned inside a first ring chamber.
