A method for preparing a medicament composed of a plurality of components in a cartridge for the dispensing of said medicament by way of a dispensing device, such as a nebulizer, where a plurality of fluidically separated chambers of the cartridge are fluidically connected, and a component of the medicament is at least partially transferred from one of the chambers to another of the chambers with another component of the medicament in order to mix the components.
