Abstract: A dental care product, in particular a toothpaste, containing calcium phosphate compounds is free of fluorine compounds and free of silicon compounds and contains at least one surfactant selected from taurates, glycinates or sarcosinates. The dental care product remineralizes smaller caries lesions and/or repairs microfine defects in the tooth enamel, in particular also in patients with dry mouth/saliva deficiency.

Abstract: An oral care agent, in particular toothpaste or mouthwash, contains a methylxanthine, selected from the group consisting of caffeine, theobromine and theophylline, and a calcium phosphate compound, preferably in particulate form, selected from the group consisting of monocalcium phosphate monohydrate (MCPM), anhydrous monocalcium phosphate (AMCP), octacalcium phosphate (OCP), amorphous calcium phosphate (ACP), calcium-deficient hydroxyapatite (CDHA), hydroxyapatite (HA or HAP) and tetracalcium phosphate (TTCP), particularly preferably hydroxyapatite. The addition of methylxanthines, of which preferably caffeine is used, in combination with the other compounds achieves a synergistic effect.

Abstract: An oral gel composition to be applied to the gums and to remain thereon for at least 3 minutes, is used for oral care, and in particular for effective treatment of (i.e. reducing and preventing) periodontitis/gingivitis and gum recession. The oral gel composition includes at least 0.00001 and less than 0.5% by weight caffeine and a gelling agent. The oral gel composition allows cell metabolism to be activated and thus allows effective treatment and/or prevention of periodontitis/gingivitis and gum recession.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the use of Ca5(PO4)3(OH) (hydroxyapatite; HAP) and a dental care composition comprising Ca5(PO4)3(OH) for the deep-layer remineralization of demineralized teeth, in particular for the deep-layer remineralization of demineralized dental enamel. Ca5(PO4)3(OH) used according to the invention and the dental care composition used according to the invention can be applied in the treatment and/or prevention of various diseases affecting the teeth, in particular caries.
