Abstract: A method for producing a bondable coating on a metallic carrier strip made of a brass alloy with at least 15 wt. % zinc or an excretion-hardening copper-based alloy containing at least 0.03 wt. % titanium, chromium, zirconium and/or cobalt is provided. According to the method, in a single working step, a bondable metallic functional layer made of aluminum or an aluminum-based alloy and a metallic intermediate layer are placed onto the metallic carrier strip and bonded thereto using a roll cladding method. The intermediate layer is arranged fully between the functional layer and the metallic carrier strip, so that no contact between the functional layer and the metallic carrier strip is created. A coated carrier strip produced using such a method. The intermediate layer is arranged and affixed on the carrier strip and the functional layer is arranged and affixed on the intermediate layer.

The control opening is designed to at least largely prevent fluid flowing out of the conveying line and into the fluid tank when at least one minimum level in the fluid tank is exceeded, and the control opening is further designed to allow fluid to flow out of the conveying line and into the fluid tank when the at least one minimum level in the fluid tank is undershot.

Service power is measured in resource-independent service units defined and used by the service broker. The central service broker uses meta-scheduling for distributing service requests to the distributed service brokers, based on projected service units needed to process the service requests.

Abstract: The invention relates to the absorption of carbon dioxide from a process gas using a solution of potassium carbonate, potassium bicarbonate, diethanolamine and potassium vanadate, followed by desorption of the carbon dioxide from the solution and recycling the regenerated solution. Organic acid salts of potassium build up in the aqueous solution is diluted with aqueous diluent, and then passed over a semi-permeable membrane such as a nanofiltration membrane, and ultrafiltration membrane or a reverse-osmosis membrane using a pressure drop to remove the organic acid salts of potassium from the side stream.

Abstract: The invention concerns a ship's door or ship's frame arrangement which is provided with a door frame and a removable door leaf mounted in it. Peripherally mounted on one of the mutually facing peripheral edges of the frame and the door leaf and serving as a dynamic seal is an elastic tube which is connected to a pressure medium source and which, when pressurized, presses between the peripheral edges of the frame and the door leaf, thereby forming a seal between them and, when depressurized, lifts away from the opposite peripheral edges to form an annular clearance. In addition to the dynamic seal, a peripheral static seal is provided which serves as a spray-guard.

The open ends of corresponding mating pipes of adjacent piping units are arranged at the dividing planes. The corresponding pipes of one piping unit and corresponding mating pipes of adjacent piping units are connected in a fluid-tight manner by means of removable pipe connectors. The dividing planes may advantageously be made to coincide with a grid having lines which are drawn to divide a deck length and width uniformly. The piping units may be standardized and prefabricated.

Abstract: The invention provides solid enteric-coated compositions in unit dose form for oral application, the core of the composition containing an ergot alkaloid and a polyalkoxyalkylene sterol ether. The compositions are characterized by a prolonged effect and a good bioavailability of the active agent. The core may be in solid solution form. The enteric-coating may also be surrounded by an outer medicament layer.
